Beginning October 1, water was shut off and preparations for Phase 2 of the main canal piping project began. Construction started on October 4, 2024, and included the installation of 20,000 linear feet of pipe. This phase was more complex than Phase 1 because the pipeline crossed three major roadways including China Hat Road, Knott Road, and Woodside Road.

The project ultimately reached substantial completion and was placed into service for water delivery on May 31, 2025.
