Current Status of Main Canal Piping Project as of July 2026

Phase 1 and Phase 2 were successfully completed in May 2025. The final Phase 3 and 4 are anticipated to begin in Fall 2027, with government funding expected to be secured to support the project’s continued advancement. These final phases will extend from China Hat Road to Pima Road, completing the Main Canal Piping Project and delivering the full benefits of the improvements to the system.
