Arnold Irrigation District had to turn water off this morning due to continued operational issues with the self-cleaning screen at the inlet of our pipe. The screen is being transported to Bakersfield, CA today for modifications at the contractor’s factory.
The plan is to have the modifications completed by the middle of this week and transported back to Bend on Friday to be installed back at the inlet of the pipe. Our goal is to reopen our headgate on the Deschutes River sometime this weekend.
We thank you for your understanding as we navigate through the operations of our new project. We appreciate the extra efforts of our staff, contractors, and consultants. Further updates will be sent through our text alert communication system. If you have not signed up, please do so through our website at www.arnoldirrigationdistrict.com.
Sincerely,
Arnold Irrigation District
